2nd Mediterranean Healthy Lifestyle Fair – 13th-15th April 2018, Torre Pacheco

The II Mediterranean Healthy Living event is a pioneering fair and benchmark of the healthy sector in the Region of Murcia and bordering provinces, which obtained very positive results in its first edition, highlighting the interest that there was in this sector to have an event of these characteristics.

This way, the 2nd Mediterranean Healthy Lifestyle Fair will offer the most complete showcase of proposals and novelties so that you and your family can enjoy the best quality of life, at your fingertips.

The participating companies will be divided into several areas: Health, Healthy, Welfare, Ecological, Training, Institutional and Sports.

According to the organisers, an important audience attendance is expected, taking as reference the first edition, in which it was already very positive.

Parallel to the exhibition, a wide variety of activities will be carried out, such as different areas of information integrated within the pavilions, on various topics related to health, food, innovative therapies, etc., which will be organized by the exhibitors themselves.

There will also be tastings of healthy and organic products.

Coinciding with the celebration of the International Cyclist’s Day, on April 15th,

the activities that will be organised and largely take place around the world of cycling, a role that will also be reflected in the exhibition, with the aim of making available all that this sector offers together in a fair; a space where professionals and amateurs can access the new models of bicycles and all the products and novelties of the market, and a wide range of participatory activities such as cycle routes; electric and urban bikes circuits, children and road safety, looping bike, trial bike etc. in which it will have the collaboration of the Murcian Cycling Federation.

Likewise, attendees will be offered the opportunity to do product tests of some of the most relevant bicycle brands.

IFEPA this year wants to demonstrate the power of the bicycle sector, not only for sport and leisure, but as a means of transport for many citizens.

The firm commitment to bicycles will mean a kinder, healthier and less polluting future for our society, generating more green jobs, boosting our retail trade and opening spaces for coexistence and respect for all, as well as promoting sports and health as part of fundamental of our way of life.

The main objective of this fair is to promote good health habits, to prevent diseases and improve their quality of life. Healthy life is understood as that way of life in which the person maintains a harmonious balance in their diet, physical activity, intellectual activity, recreation (especially in the open air), rest, hygiene and spiritual peace.

The OMS (Organización Mundial de la Salud)-World Health Organization recommends that a healthy lifestyle be adopted throughout the life cycle, in order to preserve life, stay healthy and alleviate disability and pain in old age. Healthy lifestyles refer to a set of daily behaviors or attitudes that people

perform, to maintain their body and mind in the right way.
