Carnival 2023 has already kicked off in Los Alcázares, with the next main events happening from Wednesday 22nd February until Sunday 26th.
Wednesday 22nd February
On Wednesday 22nd, “Carnaval de los Mayores” will take place from 4pm in the “Adolfo Lopéz” Retirement Centre. Enjoy an afternoon of music, churros and even a photocall so you can show off your best costumes.
Friday 24th February
On Friday, it´s the kids turn to put on their best costumes and enjoy a family friendly musical. Activities will start at 5pm in Avenida de la Constitución, where the youngsters will find popcorn, inflatables, candy floss and lots of fun!
Saturday 25th February
On Saturday the Big Parade will take place, leaving at 6pm from Carril de Las Palmeras, along the Avenida de la Libertad up to the town hall. After the parade, which will include dance groups and many other amazing performances, the party with continue in the Plaza Manuel Floreal Menárguez, with prize giving for the Carnaval contestants, music and shows.
Sunday 26th February
Of course, we can´t leave our furry friends out of the Carnival festivities. On Sunday from 10:30am, your four-legged best friends will also have the opportunity to celebrate carnival in the Plaza del Espejo. There will be music, tapas, drinks and a canine fancy dress competition.
