NEW REGULATION ABOUT MASKS
On Monday 13th July, the Government of the Región de Murcia published in the Official Gazette a new regulation regarding the use of the masks, amplifying the regulation previously issued on 19th June.

From Monday evening, it’s mandatory to use the masks in public roads, public spaces, or closed spaces of public access. It would include any walking within the Resort: walking to and from the car, in a car park, walking to the swimming pool, etc.

There are some exceptions:
  • Children under 6 years old.
  • People with illnesses or respiratory difficulties, whose situation can get worse with the use of the mask.
  • For disabled people with mobility problems.
  • People with diagnosed problems of mental instability, to whom the use of masks is not advisable.
  • Playing outdoor sports.
  • Unforeseeable circumstances that prevent someone from wearing a mask.
  • When, by the nature of the activities, the use of the mask is not reasonable. For example, its use shall not be compulsory when you’re eating or drinking,  in swimming pools or on beaches, although it is advisable if you are out of the water.
 
Where the use of masks is not compulsory, the use of other means of face protection is advised.

The breach of this new regulation can result in you being fined 100€.

For the safety of all, please use the mask in the communal areas.
CORRECTIVE FLOODS MEASURES
On 03/07/2020 the Board of Directors of the EUCC held a meeting with the technicians in charge of the Project to build corrective measures to mitigate the effects of the floods that were approved at the General Assembly held on 2nd February 2020.
The technicians have begun the contractor bidding process, with the aim of starting the execution of the works this summer.

RE-OPENING OF CHILDREN´S PARKS IN RODA GOLF
We would like to remind you that the children of our urbanization will be able to enjoy the use of playgrounds again since last Monday 13th July.

The EUCC contracted a daily disinfection service for playgrounds to comply with the new regulations published by the Regional Government of Murcia in this regard.
Keep in mind that the Regional Government of Murcia has established, at present, some rules for users of children's areas, in addition to daily disinfection:
  • To comply with the social distance, the individual capacity will be 1 person / 2.25 m2 (safety distance). If you see that there are too many people in the area, please wait.
  • Each user must respect the social distance and wear a mask.
  • In order to use the playgrounds, you must bring your own hydro-gel.
  • The use of the elements must be individual. Although the use can be shared by people who cohabit.
  • There will be informational signs in the areas.
The health crisis is not over.
Please respect the rules.
If the rules are not followed, the EUCC
would consider closing the facilities
RODA GOLF OPEN THEIR POOLS!
We would like to remind you that as of last week all the RODA GOLF communities have opened their pools after the intense work by the communities to quickly implant all of the necessary safety measures to comply with the requirements of the new regulations within the "New Normality" that we are currently in. 

We hope that you can fully enjoy the use of the swimming pools during the summer, but we ask you to respect the maximum capacity limit for your own safety and that of your neighbors and pay attention to the rest of the rules for use. Thank you.
POOL USE
We kindly ask all owners, renters, and guests for maximum cooperation to guaranty your security and that of others while using the pools and surrounding areas. 
  • Please read and check the informative sign placed at each pool indicating the rules for safe use and the pool´s maximum capacity.
Please bear in mind that the health crisis is not yet over.
We kindly ask that all nappy wearing children wear them at all times and that the nappy is correctly suited for pool use so as to avoid any incidences. 
We ask that life safely rings be used correctly and not as a toy or as a substitute for safety inflatables. They must be used strictly in case of emergency and necessity. Thank you very much for your cooperation.
We kindly ask that all children's toys, especially smaller ones, not be left or used inside the pool, as they can enter the filtration system and the engine causing serious and expensive repairs. Thank you.
FIESTAS RODA GOLF  
We regret to have to inform you that, after the deliberations of the Fiestas Committee and the EUCC Board of Directors, it has been decided to cancel the celebration of the FIESTAS RODA GOLF 2020.

This decision is motivated by the logistical and organizational difficulties that compliance with the regulations applicable to the holding of mass events during the current pandemic would entail.

We look forward to your attendance at the RODA GOLF 2021 HOLIDAYS!

SECONDARY ACCESS OPENING 
We would like to inform you that the Secondary access is now open from 19/06/2020 and will remain open at night until the end of summer.
EUCC FEE 
We would like to remind you that the payment for the Urban Entity fees, corresponding to the  3rd Quarter 2020  was debited from your account on Wednesday 15th July 2020.
 
May we remind Owners without a  direct debit set up for Entity fees that the date for the first quarter payment is due by the 15th of July 2020. Please note that any owners who have not made the corresponding payment by this date or within 30 days, will be subject to the automatic surcharge increase of 20% of the outstanding fee.

SECURITY AND GENERAL MAINTENANCE

Early last Tuesday morning, the pest control company GRUPO GAM carried out one of the programmed mosquito fumigations for this year. 
Last Friday, the pest control Company GRUPO GAM carried out the revision of bait boxes for the rats and flies traps in the Resort.
Last Wednesday staff for the San Javier Town Council tidied and removed plant waste from around the exterior on the Resort. 
Last Wednesday, FALCONRY (pigeon population control) carried out maintenance of traps and removed 1 catch.

NON-RESIDENT TAX
May we remind you that the Non-Resident Tax must be filed and presented. This tax is for those owners who are non-resident in Spain and have a property here. If this is your case and you have not done it yet, may we advise that you contact your Tax Consultant!

RULES FOR PETS
Security has had to report and formally file complaints with the local authorities regarding residents of the urbanization for repeated violations of municipal pet regulations. These actions usually cause real inconveniences to the rest of neighbors and coexistence problems that may end up in the courts. Please be respectful with your neighbors. Thank you.

MURCIA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Last Tuesday 15th January, The Region de Murcia International Airport started operating linking with 13 destinations of three European Union Countries; the United Kingdom, Ireland and Belgium. Those flights are operated by Ryanair, EasyJet, and TUlfly airlines.

AENA informs that the company  INTERBUS Región de Murcia has already started providing the public service of transport between the airport and the Golf Courses, including a stop at RodaGolf's main entrance.
