Last Wednesday 27th January, the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia published additional modifications in relation to the restrictions and measures applied during these last weeks to stop the spread of COVID.
As for social meetings, the same restriction is maintained for informal family, social and recreational gatherings between non-cohabitating people when they take place in homes or in private spaces and private vehicles. Only people who belong to the family unit or coexistence group can meet.
However, with regards to public spaces, both indoors and outdoors, a little lenience has been introduced by limiting the permanence of groups to a maximum of two people, unless they are living together.
Exceptions to these limitations will apply in the following circumstances:
People who live alone, who may be part of a single extended coexistence unit. Each co-habitant unit can only integrate a single person who lives alone.
The reunion of minors with their parents, in the event, that they do not live at the same address.
The meeting of people with a marriage or partner relationship when they live at different addresses.
The meeting for the care, attention, or accompaniment of minors, elderly or dependents, with disabilities or especially vulnerable, when it is necessary for the normal development of this person.
On the other hand, it is also established the closure of the premises and establishments destined for commercial activity and the provision of customer service located in 8 municipalities: Yecla, Moratalla, Albudeite, Mula, Fortuna, Caravaca, Ricote, and Jumilla, from 6:00 p.m., as well as on Saturdays and Sundays, being able to provide only home delivery services and collection at the premises upon prior request, until its usual closing time or until the start of the curfew. Certain essential services, including food services, are exempt from these closing hours.
In the field of health care, visits are temporarily suspended as well as the accompaniment regime for patients by their relatives and trusted persons in all health centers in the region, both public and private.
Day centers for the elderly and disabled must remain closed, and face-to-face care is still suspended. Likewise, it is also established the suspension of visits to residences for the elderly and to residences and sheltered apartments for people with disabilities.
